It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia premiered on FX in August 2005 and has since become the longest-running live-action comedy series in American television history. Created by Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day, the show follows five deeply selfish, spectacularly oblivious friends as they run a failing bar in South Philadelphia and manage to make every situation catastrophically worse.
There's no redemption arc. There's no character growth. There's just the Gang — and that's exactly the point. Sixteen seasons in, Paddy's Pub remains the greatest dive bar in television history, and we're here to celebrate every depraved, hilarious moment of it.
